You may be thinking "what the heck is Patreon - what are you up to now?"
Well, Patreon is a site that allows fans from all over the world to help support the artists they believe in. It works like a normal crowdfunding sites except instead of giving a large amount of money at one time for a project you give a set amount (like a $2 tip) per creation - for me it will be per video. You can also set a limit for the month - so you'll never be charged more than you've allowed for. I plan to release a video of a cover or original song once a fortnight and have some of my favourite songs ready to record! Once you become a Patron you'll also have access to my Patron only stream where I'll be sharing video blogs, photos, lyrics and hold virtual hangouts where we can chat and I can play a tune or two. The funds raised on Patreon will go towards recording my latest award-winning song West Coast, creating an official video for that song and eventually recording an entire album! The beauty of Patreon is that you'll get to be a part of the journey as it happens! Patreon has been running successfully for 3 years now and I believe it is a new way forward for creators.
